Yesterday was anther travel day. Ugh! Torrential rains, then the traffic around Chicago was crawling, and then 7+ hours in the car. Ugh!! I'm checked into my new Airbnb hosted by an interesting women, Amy. We started talked and it was like we'd known each other forever. Her home is amazing and so well decorated...probably the nicest I've stayed at so far. Her other bedroom is rented to a 4th year medical student, Katherine, who is traveling around doing...well whatever it is 4th year medical students do. She's going to be here 2 weeks. Apparently Amy gets a lot of long term stays - some up to a month. Here's a quick pic of the plantings on the side of her garage with a framed mirror hanging above which I thought was so cool.
