We traveled 100 miles yesterday and only 230 today (because it was too rainy for many stops). We're savoring Oregon.
Here are some pics from my morning walk on Nye Beach, Newport
The eagle eyed will see a lighthouse out on the point to the right.
Driftwood...massive driftwood!
My beach finds included a piece of what appears to be lava rock.
According to our guidebook there are lava fields nearby.
Oh and here's the moon and ocean from the balcony.
We stopped for lunch in Brandon, OR and just kept heading south. One thing we've seen a lot of is bicyclists. I have to believe that riding the Pacific Coast Highway is a thing because they are all loaded down. Can you even imagine riding that far?

This is the stop where I realized my selfie stick was broken.
Wat-Mart here we come!
Good bye Oregon, you were amazing!! I'll be back some day!
OK California, let's see what you got!
